Below are some examples written by members of the prayer team and congregational members.
#1
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 12:14-“Even so the body is not
made up of on part but of many.”
Reflection: In every country
we build houses to call our own. Families will come to help clean, carry
and help you through all the decisions that need to be made. Each of us has
been uniquely gifted with the capacity to make a contribution to the work of
Christ. We were never intended to be alone, but to work together and become an
army for God. We are all to use our gifts to serve one another. So that
together we can make a difference.

Scripture: Joshua 1:9-“Have
I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed,
for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Reflection: Just as knowing
that God is with me wherever I go strengthens me and allows my fears to be put
aside, the same is true for our Trinity family. God walks with us and
strengthens us in that walk and encourages us to move towards Him. This verse
also reminds me that I do not have a life, I live and I GO. God is not static
but active. We, the Trinity family are embarking on a journey that will bring
about growth and maturity in all of us, for God is with us and will strengthen
us. I also remember that courage only comes in the face of fear. God has
reminded me not to tremble or be dismayed, for God will not leave me. (David

Scripture: Daniel 9:23 “As soon as you began to pray an answer was given, which I have come to tell you, for you are greatly beloved.”
Reflection: The angel Gabriel’s words to Daniel are my
life verse. Many times I have felt discouraged or abandoned by God. My
prayers don’t always bring any results or comfort. But I hold onto
this verse, which God highlighted for me during a low time. Even when
the response seems delayed, as was God’s answer to Daniel’s prayer, God
has heard my prayer and has an answer for me, his greatly beloved
daughter.(Cara Murray)

Scripture: Psalm 122:1 "I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord!”
Reflection: Many years ago we were adult leaders of several youth who traveled to Poland for a servant project at Poland’s Lutheran Mission and Evangelization camp. One day we hiked up a mountain and deep within a forest we came to a ‘Secret Church.’ It was a place Christians had met when it wasn’t safe to worship openly. There on some rustic pews with a large rock and a wooden cross we sang “surely the presence of the Lord is in this place.” I am so thankful that Trinity has the freedom to openly worship and proclaim to the Michiana area that the Lord’s presence is in this place.
